frequently asked questions
Please contact if you have any more questions.
1. Why the name "Stamp of Approval"?
As a pun connoisseur with the use of the word "Stamp" for postage stamp. And with my fathers approval of using his stamp collection. Stamp of Approval was created.
2. How did you come up with the idea?
We can't take all the credit. My mother had seen a few people online doing things similar to their collections and seeing as my father's collection was large and in charge, we decided this would be the best way to use them.
3. Are you a collector?
Myself, no. Although I have truly began to appreciate and recognize postage stamps as a true value in society as part of our history.
4. Can you make a piece using my stamps?
At this time we are not offering services using other peoples stamps as it can complicated the process.
5. How long does a piece take to make?
It does take a fair amount of time to make each piece but the largest majority of time goes into organize the stamps into colors, themes, countries, and etc. Pulling out the perfect stamps to work in your piece. From the point of organizing and preparing stamps to the point of completion. A single piece can take a minimum of 4 hours up towards 40 hours.
6. Where can I see your pieces in person?
Currently I am not set up at any shops but occasionally local market events will take place and we will share it over our social media pages.
7. What is the care required in the future for each piece?
Do not place outdoors or in direct contact with wet areas or rooms with poor ventilation with humidity. If a stamp or small piece of paper is no longer adhering, use a standard glue stick to re-glue down to paper. Do not use too much of the glue stick otherwise the material could wrinkle or bubble.
8. When and where can this be gifted?
Placed almost anywhere and given at any time. Gift is at birthdays, baby showers, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, gift exchanges, house warming, and etc.

Unfortunately no. Based on the initial conversations and original details discussed there should be no revisions. The only time a revision is able to be made is prior to the creation of a piece during the planning phase.
