STAMP OF APPROVAL
This art project started in 2017 and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, What is unique about us? Each piece is a one of a kind and custom with authentic vintage postage stamps from all over the world. Each stamp is individually laid and creatively placed to be appealing to the eye. What does that mean for you? No prints or photocopies and an original piece.

Hello!
MY NAME IS AMANDA
I am the creator and artist of Stamp of Approval. I started this project from my mother's idea and my father's postage stamp collection. My background is in Interior Design Technology. I have always had a passion to bring a sense of belonging making each item have purpose and function. That has certainly come into play through repurposing these postage stamps into artwork.
I love to travel and experience the history of each country. It's incredible to see these stamps and live though little bits of history.
Family is a huge part of my life. My mom being my biggest support system and she is constantly encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone. This project has brought me so much closer with my father and that means the world to me.

Stamps were invented in 1837 in England by Sir Rowland Hill. He also created the first uniform postage rates that were based on weights rather than sizing.

The rarest and most valuable stamp in the world is the British Guiana 1c Magenta which holds an estimated value of... $9,430,000.00

Long live the love letters of our past. The friends who would keep touch across the country. The families that missed each other.
